The Otematata 'O' Pipe
The piece of pipe from Lake Benmore Dam sitting on the side of the trail makes for a great photo stop. We challenge you to lift your bikes up into it for the best shot!
Sailors Cutting is a popular spot for campers and boaties during the summer months. Safe swimming spots, scenery and good lake conditions are a huge drawcard for the area. You will find this spot between Omarama and Otematata alongside Lake Benmore.
Lake Benmore Peninsula Walk
This 4km walk is well worth the spectacular views over Lake Benmore. Expected walking time: 1hr 30mins
It's not hard to guess how these large-scale limestone rock formations got their name. These Elephant resembling rocks can be found 5km South of Duntroon on Island Cliff - Duntroon Road.
